The Golondrina Cave : Cueva De Las Golondrinas, Manati, Puerto Rico

Golondrinas Cave is one of Puerto Rico most top beautiful beaches from the north cost of the island. Located in Manati.

La Cueva de las Golondrinas is know because just side by side there’s another famous beach called La Poza de las Mujeres, is another beauty of this island with its crystal clear waters and the amazing rock that you can climb.

Why is it called Golondrinas Cave?

Golondrina is a migratory bird that lives all around the world, moving from one part of the world to another. One of the stops for years is been the cave   because they do their nest on top of the rocks from the caves like the batts, best place to be safe for this little birds that they are only 2 to 4 inches tall.

When is it good to go?

All the year is good to go, the water on summer (May-August) is super warm & maybe in winter (November - February) is just 2 or 3 degrees less than usual but it is still perfect conditions to go.
